well, like i said earlier on, we start a new school year every jan 20 & finish around dec 20
it's just that we start yr 12 earlier, since the hsc (end of yr 12 exams) starts around term 4 & we need a full school yr of yr 12 instead of just 3 terms.
so we have 3 terms of yr 11, then jmp straight to yr 12 in term 4, yr 11
it's kinda hard to explain clearly, but hopefully you understand it ^^

ohh alright, that’s heaps cool! Teachers in Australia should follow the example of Canadian teachers
we’re having a strike like in 2 weeks, only we’ve got exams then, so we don’t really miss out on anything, seriously wish the strike would happen after exams! hahahah
ahh, I know! There should be just one (or 2 at the most) teaching system which the entire world should go by, it’d make everyone’s life a lot easier! Lol
