This was done a long time ago... near September? First time I actually worked with alot of different mediums.
Materials are sharpie, water colours, magazine cut-outs, glue, blah, blah, blah.
This just shows how the world is influenced these days, obviously, I'm not superficial.
AHHH !
so i'm seeing all those superficial & "fake" influences from magazines; & all that shizz.
& the kid in black represents the "outcasts" of the world & how they get mocked by the media; public & everything else possible; yes?
you always have the BEST ways to convey a message to people Galina! ^^
Whoa! You got it! 0___0 Right on the dot! Whoa! Can you read my mind?! Yeah, like what is "normal" is actually freakish (like cosmetic surgery and animal testing) and what is weird/freakish (goth style, skull related stuff, homosexuality and incest, etc.) is the most normal and decent thing on this damn Earth.
Hehe, and you'll notice that the girl in black (I call her the "Little Goth Girl") appears in a few of deviations.
Hehe, thanks! I try! You rock, Gwen! ^_^<3
(Oh! If you're wondering why I'm comfortable with something awkward to talk about like incest, I accepted it before, but not fully until after reading Angel Sanctuary, a manga by Kaori Yuki, which I highly recommend!)

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community.
